She Blooms

‘She Blooms’ was written to honour the innocent and purity of how my young girlie sees the world. Her love declared through handfuls of floppy weeds has always been so impactful and meaningful to me. 

I wanted to write a piece that, in years to come, will transport me back to these simpler days while also communicating how her love, shared through dandelions and daisies, served to shine a brighter light on her own beauty and wonder.

I have written poetry since I was old enough to write.  I have endless books and diaries filled with poems of my youth. From declarations of love to boys who did not even know my name to poems exploring dark and heavy subjects, I always used poetry as a way to express myself and navigate the world around me.

When I became a mother, I had more inspiration than I knew what to do with.  Art and illustrations were a fabulous outlet and a wonderful way to soothe my very busy mind but the value and power of words has always moved me out an even deeper level. 

The fact that my work is received so well by so many of you humbles me deeply. The fact that you would consider hanging my work and my words in your home, your safe space, is an honour that I honestly cannot describe.

Thank you for supporting my art! Each print is made to order, ensuring the highest quality for every customer. I aim to process and post your order as promptly as possible, typically within three days of purchase.

All orders are processed, printed , packed and posted by myself here in the beautiful surrounds of West Cork, Ireland.  You will receive an email notification once your order has been dispatched.

As all items are printed to order, I cannot offer returns or refunds once an order is placed. However, your satisfaction is incredibly important to me.
