‘Sacred’ is a bold and beautifully colourful piece. The female body has been shrouded in centuries of shame and it was an honour to create an art piece centred around the strong yet delicate sacred part of a woman’s body. I created it one evening when the children were sleeping,taking some time to myself to explore the medium of oil pastels.
