Almost There

‘ Almost There’ was drawn by me when I was 32 weeks pregnant on my very last baby. There was a time I would’ve fought against the changes in my body that came alongside pregnancy but having gone through pregnancy, births, loss and all things in between I would look down that my large round belly covered and stretchmarks and I feel in awe of all I could see.

I wanted to create a beautiful illustration captured that personal point of view a mother has been looking down at her growing bump. I think it’s a really special thing to hang art in our homes or workspaces where the true evolution of the female form is highlighted and honoured.
